At LONG&PETITE, our story isn’t just about making dog clothes — it’s about making them right.
When Cooper, our first dog, joined our family in 2023, he changed the rhythm of our lives.
He became more than a pet — he became a little soul who taught us to slow down, to wander more, and to see beauty in simple moments.Through him, we began to see the world differently: more present, more curious, and more grateful for the little things.
We soon realised how short and precious our time with our dog truly is, and we promised to make the most of every moment together. That’s why we bring Cooper with us wherever we go — from the rolling hills of England to the quiet streets of Paris, from the lakes of Austria to the snowy trails of Canada. So far, we’ve travelled together across the US, Canada, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Ireland, Austria, Germany, Sweden, and Denmark — and our journey is still unfolding.
Each trip reminds us how much joy, companionship, and perspective he brings to our lives — and how our adventures wouldn’t feel the same without him.

Why We Created LONG&PETITE
During one of our winter trips abroad, we realised how difficult it was to find clothing that truly fit Cooper — something warm, practical, and made for his long, low body. Most of what we found was either too short, too loose, or simply not designed for dachshunds.
With decades of experience in fabric sourcing and garment craftsmanship, we decided to create our own — and that’s how LONG&PETITE was born.
Handmade in the UK, our brand is dedicated exclusively to dachshunds, blending thoughtful design, premium materials, and timeless style with genuine functionality.
